Our brother & sister in law missed their onward connection to LHR from Montreal after their AC308 was late.
Is there somewhere I can look to see what the reason was for them?
Thanks in advance.
We had assumed when they were messaging us that they we’re in a hotel and only just discovered they have overnighted at the airport, so keen to help them with any compensation claim for the delay (would have helped to book a hotel if we had known)
They will arrive at LHR over 12 hours late although the initial delay was only about half an hour.
@ZoeB – unfortunately if they were travelling on Air Canada, there’s no EC261 compensation or right to care applicable as it’s a third country carrier from a third country airport. Only the local Canadian regs apply :-

You won’t get any reason that you can rely upon for any claim, so they need to make a claim and find out that way.
