Hi I signed up fpr the Barclaycard Avios plus CC and need to spend £3000 to qualify for the bonus avios points.
My July statement was £990 yet when I look on the app it says that my total spend for the year is just £600.36.
I have bought a travel insurance for £499 with the card …does this count towards a total spend?….
I’ve worked out that I’ve spent £1468 in total so far
Can anyone explain whats happening?
tia@xxdeebeexx the ‘wheel’ showing spend is quite delayed. The actual number of Avios earned is up to date and a better guide to what you have spent. It shows the total above the wheel and individual spend Avios below. When you hit £3k, the bonus will quickly (1-3 days) show in your total.

Where do I see the wheel on the app?On the first page there should be your name and balance. Click on the arrow next to that, next page click on the arrow next to ‘View your Avios’ and you will see the wheel and click on ‘view your activity’ for Avios awarded for each transaction. My spend wheel for the voucher has been stuck below £10k for months, but the voucher appeared anyway.
