Wonder if anyone can help me please. I have a load of MR points, Avios and Virgin Miles; enough for any award in J but struggling to find any availability for a return flight to Bangkok.
Any tips on where I should be looking? Ideally flying from London or with a short positioning flight from Europe. Flying the first week in November.
Are there airlines that regularly release award availability close to the day? Anyone with experience on this route can help?
Thanks in advance.
https://awards.pnr.sh/ is a good tool for looking at Star Alliance and getting an idea of what is available , Lufthansa is pretty consistent at releasing seats at the last minute for example. Thai Airways seats do pop up from Europe as well, especially if you just need 1. Singapore Airlines is another one to check directly.
Air France is also good about releasing last minute availability if flights aren’t too busy (can use Virgin miles but search on airfrance website in case Virgin isn’t showing options)
But flights are just very very busy headed to that part of the world at the moment (especially with Doha being much reduced in volume for connections due to the world cup) so it’ll be tricky!
