I previously posted on this but can’t find the thread so apologies. I bought an expensive sofa etc just before Christmas that qualified for around 75,000 Avios, through Darlings of Chelsea (there was a 50% bonus).
The Avios was cancelled on Saturday but i now have in writing, from darlings of Chelsea, that ‘all has been approved with British Airways our end and accepted by British Airways. There is no reason why British Airway are not crediting your airmiles to your account’.
Does anyone have experience on how to deal with BA on this – they dont appear too interested in helping.
Thanks
Dispute it with missing avios query via E store. They should provide a reason why it was declined which you can challenge if incorrect.
If you used a discount code that can often void the Avios. Also check the T&C’s there might be a sneaky clause in there. Master of Malt have one where purchasing their own brand products wipes the avios redemption for example
