Has anyone used Heathrow Express Business First fast track option at LHR? HEx seem to be promoting this a lot.
Recently, I foolishly bought a business first ticket for HEx, expecting to use the fast track security channels at LHR T3, but got denied entry. In fact, the staff claimed they have never heard of it. I checked it with two staff members, but didn’t hang around to argue as I was on a tight schedule.
Has anyone used HEx fast track at LHR successfully?
(Apologies if its the wrong forum. Can’t think of any section that matches my question).
Probably better asked in the London, Destination or even BA thread.
Was aware of the promo but have never tried to use it. Bit of a joke that staff weren’t aware. I’d send a complaint to HEX and when then inevitably brush you off, forward the correspondence (plus a screen grab of the offer) to your credit card company & say the product delivered wasn’t what you bought.
Bit strange that the HAL employed staff don’t know about a HEX offer that would have been initiated by HAL who own it.
Did you actually show them your HeX ticket showing you were in Business First?

Business First Class ticket holders are eligible to use Heathrow Airport’s Fast Track Security service. Entry is valid for Heathrow Express Business First ticket holders only and not Standard Class passengers. Unfortunately, accompanied guests are not permitted and each passenger must hold their own ticket. If you are traveling with children, your Business First ticket must clearly state the number of children you are traveling with. Business First Fast Track Security is for departing Heathrow passengers only and excludes all arrivals services. Valid Heathrow Express tickets must be presented along with your airline boarding card on the day of travel to a security colleague. Heathrow Express tickets will be validated before entry is allowed into the security lane.

Thank you for the tip. I did sent a complaint to HEx and never got a reply!
But will chase again and then send all the proof to the credit card company. Chargeback never occured to me so thanks again.

Yes I did and I even showed them the webpage which you quoted. They were just looking at each other’s faces and seem to have been genuinely surprised. I eventually I decided to move along on the normal queue due to the tight schedule I was on.
