When does the voucher date from? It was said when the changes were announced there would be no more “half vouchers”, or change given from the 75k/150k if your 241 or upgrade was less than that, so you may have to try and redeem it to find out!
But funnily enough something similar happened in our account the other day. I used a voucher to upgrade MAN-MCO to UC a few weeks ago – points needed for 2 of us were 37k so I assumed I’d just lose the rest of the voucher value. But the other day I received what I assumed was ticketing confirmation for the upgraded flight, and also a deposit of 37k points into our VFC account, which looks very similar to what half a voucher or the remaining points would be.
I don’t know if VS are currently repricing the flight with the voucher and these extra points will be clawed back at some point, or what!
