Any suggestions for a decent lunch venue in Glasgow on a Saturday, to take my 11 year old son, please? We are flying up in the morning, and heading to Ibrox for the Spurs friendly at 3pm. Maybe a good Italian where we can have a decent leisurely lunch, then a cab ride to the stadium ? Many thanks
I’d recommend the Big Feed which is an indoor street food market with live music and a bar. If it’s on – it doesn’t run every week. It’s not Italian but a really fun place with good food and about a 15-minute walk to the stadium. If the Big Feed isn’t open then The Dockyard Social is a similar idea and is on every week and it’s about a 10 minutes drive from Ibrox Stadium.
For Italian, The Italian Kitchen in the city center is very good and La Fiorentina is quite near the stadium and is very good.
There’s a fantastic Italian restaurant near Cathedral in Glasgow called Celentano’s. Highly recommended!
