Hi all, our BA Avios flight to GIB in February has been cancelled and we have been rebooked into one a couple of hours later. That’s ok but it says “You can review and accept this itinerary or find a different flight” but unless I’m been really stupid, there’s no way to actually do this! I’ve tried online and in the (Android) app.
Without being able to do this, I can’t access MMB for this flight. Any ideas? I think it might be something to do with the fact it was booked through Avios.com with a Lloyds upgrade voucher.
Incidentally, I only found out about the cancelled flights when I tried to go to MMB. BA didn’t tell us!
The new flights should be booked but the only way to get past that screen, and into MMB, is to call – and good luck with that. The agent told me that is was a ‘known problem’ and that it had been that way since Covid which I don’t think is the case.
It would be interesting to see whether you can see anymore of your booking on another oneworld website like Qantas etc – I didn’t try that before I got it sorted.
I’ve got this with all 3 of my current BA bookings cancelled or changed! The only way I’ve found which works is to pick a different flight (which worked for me on one of the cancellations) and then it shows as a normal booking in your account.
All my current bookings have domestic connections which makes it even more complicated as these haven’t been changed, only the onward legs which are sometimes now on different days!
