Get HH status night, when not checkin

Hi,

Do i get HH status nights when i book a room either paid or with points, but not show up for whatever reason?
So the room would be fully paid and booked in my name, but no check-in.

Not unless someone makes a mistake. If you have check in available on the app you can try and see if that gives you the credit. Please report back if it does.

Same as if you check in and then actually check out before midnight as I stupidly did once. These days I just leave the key in the room.

I’m used the app check in a couple of times when I couldn’t stay and the reservation wasn’t cancellable, and both times the stay and points have credited. I have read though that it’s a bit hit and miss whether it works.
