My partner has just got a Priority Pass…. which is the best lounge, and why, of the following….

No 1 Lounge, Aspire, Clubroom or My Lounge.

Thanks. I’ll have a read later.

Anyone know how likely you are to get in these with a PP? Considering getting one but I’ve had many experiences in MAN of full lounges, is it the same at LGW?

Could someone also confirm if I can still guest at £20? This would be via HSBC Mastercard Elite.

    Cheers

Any recent view on which is the best of these lounges (I’ve read the reviews)? Thanks.

No1 was very good this week at 6am. Not busy at all nor any queue. I did reserve spaces for £6 a person using my PP. Oddly I gave my flight departure time and it said it was full so I changed it to 30 minutes earlier and it let me book.

I’d like to try the clubrooms as that looked pretty nice but as it’s adults only it’ll be about 17 years before I get the chance.

It says adults but their definition is 12+ – unless you’re just starting a brood of course!

    HfP reviews here

Worth noting that some of those reviews are close on a decade old now. Not sure how useful that is given the changes we’ve seen in recent years. Obvious choice seems to be Clubrooms – pay £15 to pre-reserve a space, get free fast track security.

I’ve just been reading reviews on Trip Advisor…they all look as bad as each other (excluding clubrooms)!

That’s the problem. They have now become the equivalent of a buffet at a budget all inclusive resort, rather than being solace and escape from the madding crowd. If you want a la carte, you find All Bar One – or ‘spoons…

My limited experience of the Clubrooms is little better as you get the two older couples (think golf/bridge club types) trying to out-do one another. I was trying not to eves-drop, honestly, but i’m sure one of them said they had just come back from Tenerife, with the others retorting that they found Elevenerife far better…

I’m giving MyLounge a crack tomorrow evening. Will see how we go, but the kids are keen on “free apple juice!”.
