I have 2138 miles on flying blue form a trip a took a little while ago. they are due to expire soon and i would like to transfer them to somewhere else in the hope of it not going to waste. is that possible and what if so what options do i have?
Good morning is it possible to transfer flyingblue points to soemewhere else? i have a few points due to expire and would like to use it is possible
One of FlyingBlue’s biggest drawbacks is that spend nearly exclusively needs to happen on flights and ancillary purchases, as there are no partners to transfer in to. Your choices are to buy something from the Flyingblue store (https://store.flyingblue.com/), to transfer to a duty free operator (https://www.flyingblue.com/en/spend/others), or to donate them (https://www.flyingblue.com/en/mileshub/donate).
If you’re looking at accruing more in SkyTeam in future, I’d be looking at VS or DL – both still suffer from the best value from flights problem, as most schemes do, but you do have more options, at least.
Although the transfer rate probably isnt very good, you should be able to link your flyingblue account to an Accor account and transfer your miles to Accor points.
Linking them is a good idea anyway as that way a flight with say KLM earns both miles and accor points, and similarly stays with Accor earn their points plus flyingblue miles
