Ok I’m still trying to work out how this works
25 flights to earn bronze
59 flights to earn silver
Can someone please explain how this works ?
A return flight Edinburgh to Heathrow will give me 1 or 2 flights towards status ?
And a return flight to USA via London IE 4 flights will give me how many towards status ?
Thanks sorry
for being a neebie and asking a question that’s been covered probably a hundred times

Two flights

Four flights
Caveat: all flights have to be coded with a BA number, so BAxxx LHR-EDI, BAxxx EDI-LHR etc – so flying IBxxx LHR-MAD for example will not count for tier points on BA.
A flight is a sector. A return is two sectors so you need 12.5 returns for Bronze or 25 returns for Silver using your Edinburgh to Heathrow example.
A return to the states via London would give you 4 sectors towards the above.

I was hoping that was the case 😜
Now I feel more confident about my quest for status wether I’m foolish to try or not 🤔
