We have booked a codeshare flight to Brisbane with Finnair. Heathrow/Helsinki/Singapore/Brisbane.
Qantas have cancelled the Singapore to Brisbane Flight. So we contacted Finnair to rearrange this flight. They said they couldn’t help as this leg was operated by Qantas and was told to contact them. Is this correct information as I think Finnair should be rearranging the flight for us??. Any help is most appreciated
yes you are correct, Finnair are effectively your travel agent here. Find the Qantas flight (ideally with an AY code) you want instead and call Finnair. If they’re struggling ask them to liase with Qantas via the Oneworld helpdesk
Dear SamG
Thanks for your reply. We tried Finnair again this morning and got through to a very helpful agent. There were no suitable Qantas flights so instead he found us a Singapore Airlines flight to Brisbane at no extra charge. So we are very happy with the outcome. I think we were very lucky to be put through to an agent who knew what he was talking about.
Thanks again. Johnroyb
