Two of my kids are getting a bit into golf and I’m a beginner, too.

Looking for recommendations of somewhere we can go in the summer that’s warm and has some kind of golf academy. Not after bragging rights of it being at some championship club or taught by am ex-PGA star, more something that’s fun, relaxed, a 90 minute session for the three of us in the morning for 5 days or so and leaves us a bit more competent to hack our way around the local pay & play when we get home.

I’m thinking of something that’s akin to the TUI learn to swim courses you see advertised on the TV.

Am sure it’s out there, but really don’t know where to start looking!
    Thanks in advance

We have used https://leadbetter-academy.fr/en/ and been pleased with it. Lots of good clubs organise family or more specifically courses for children in the summer and will do season pass type deals. There are also resorts like La Manga that have great facilities for golf and tennis training at all ages.

A quick look suggests this is bang on the money. I don’t want it to be the *whole* holiday as wife & eldest aren’t interested. Any more recommendations welcome, too! Kids who will be golfing are 12 & 15, (whilst I’m over the hill and some way down the other side.)

They have a 9 hole par three learners course, a 9 hole full length course and a championship course, the hotel is superb and the village of Alvor is 15 minutes away in a cab. Enjoy
