Extension of 3 month bonus?

My elderly relative signed up for the Avios card back in July. They forgot to activate the card until I did it for them today.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of getting Barclaycard to extend the 90 day period?

Otherwise I’ll do a bit of MS across our energy accounts!
