Does anyone know of the trick to extend British Airways 2-4-1 companion voucher to 30th September 2023 also works for Lloyds upgrade vouchers? I have two expiring on 31 December!
You can’t do it via the FTV route as they can’t be booked (and therefore cancelled) via ba.com. I had a booking with a Lloyds voucher for this summer but didn’t want to take the flights due to restrictions on entering France at that point, so I called avios.com and they agreed to move the flights to next Easter (and to a different country as long as it was in the same zone), even though my voucher expired in October.
So if you can make your bookings by Dec 31st, you might get lucky and get avios.com to move them to next year if you call them and ask nicely. It’s book by, not travel by with the Lloyds vouchers so the expiry date might not actually matter once you’ve made your bookings.
