Is there a legal or semi legal mind out there that can help with the following.
I booked a flight BHD to BHX on the BA App, the flight had a Aer Lingus codeshare number.
Aer Lingus subsequently sent me an email cancelling the flight for scheduling reasons and booked me on a later flight, a delay of over 3 hours.
I sent an EU261 claim to Aer Lingus who responded by email saying they had sent my claim to Emerald Airlines UK who operated the flight.
Subsequent emails to Aer Lingus have met with no response.
I am now ready to escalate to Small Claims Court but who do I name, BA, Aer Lingus (an EU airline) or Emerald Airlines UK?
Thank you for any assistance.
Emerald.
But have you actually contacted them to make a claim? You can’t just rely on the EI transfer.
Many thanks for this.
Looks like it’s EI, just have to make sure I name a correct address in UK.
