I recently went through barclaycard’s elegibility checker for the Barclaycard Forward, as im applying for my first Credit Card, only to get the following error in the decision page:
“Sorry we’re unable to confirm your eligibility for this card.”
It isn’t the first time I got this error message,as in July the same response appeared.
It gave me the option to send off the application, but I don’t want to waste the hard check only for it to cone back negative.
What course of action should I take?
Either you need to take a punt or try something like this first to see if there might be other issuers which could be more likely for you:

Alternatively, stop and pause to ensure the stuff you are in control of has been done e.g. are you on the electoral roll, have you checked your credit report to make sure nothing is up with it, have you got a utility or mobile phone in your name etc.
