Anyone else got an email today saying “From 1 July 2022 to 31 July 2022, you collected* 0 Avios with Barclaycard.”?
This seems to be a bug in the report generation; the Avios from our £3700 spending appear to be showing on the app and have been credited to our BA account.
I’ve reported it to Barclaycard and asked them to log it as a bug; but on experience to date I wouldn’t hold out much hope of this being fixed. They still haven’t worked out why we are being offered an unrecognised phone for SMS validation, or why my additional cardholder is only being offered my phone for purchase verification, or why verifying through the app never actually delivers any messages. Or why an Open Banking transaction for (eg) £46 is being presented as “462228.26 null IRAN” for which the hilarious feedback was “As per analysis from the logs, we found that there is no issue”.
Generally some of the most shoddy IT implementation I’ve seen from a UK bank.
I just received that ‘erroneous’ email. In the app it shows me the avios I have actually collected and they have transferred to my BAEC
Are all holders of this card required to report the email here?
I got the zero email even though I have points showing in the app so assumed just more of their shoddy tech.
Read it, chuckled, deleted it. (As I did last month).

Certainly. But it’s helpful to know whether it is one person or many people (which appears to be the case) when reporting it to Barclaycard.
Why would anyone bother to report anything to Barclaycard?! Is it really that upsetting to receive an email with a wrong number?
I got this message too…reported it by Twitter private message and today I got a text apologising…there are clearly still bugs in the system The text advised using the App to manage the transactions.
