eBay bonus nectar points promotion, how does it work on buying 2x or more

For the promotion on buying 3/4/5 separate items on the eBay app, you’ll potentially earn up to 1500 nectar points, a lot of us will’ve seen and (not everyone) used up the offer.

I’m shopping on eBay, I’m looking at buying some stuff, I’ve seen some items I’d buy two or of, but I’m not sure if buying 2x items under the same item number / listing counts as one purchase or two, I’ve tried reading the t&c’s of the promotion, and it doesn’t clearly state anything about this.

Under the t&c’s of collecting nectar points generally, it does state that if you buy an item that costs say £1.99, you’d earn two nectar points, but if you opt for a quantity of 2x (if available) you’d actually earn three nectar points, instead of four nectar points, the silly system set up of earning points on eBay, which encourages people to do two separate transactions instead making it easier for everyone and doing everything in one transaction…

Unfortunately buying 2 items from the same seller counts as 2 purchases.
