I phoned easyJet on Tuesday 10/1/23 and asked if they’d refund my large cabin baggage on forthcoming flights if I joined easyJet plus. Answer was: “yes, but call us 24 hours after you buy the membership. It won’t be ready to use before the 24 hours are up.”
I joined last night and paid over £600 for a family of 4.
I called back today to proceed with the refund and the agent said they couldn’t do it. When I pressed them, they said they would need to listen to the call recording from yesterday. They said they would contact me within 72 hours.
