Can any one confirm if a child aged 12 needs a pcr test ( unvaccinated) I’ve looked at official website it says this.

Children under the age of 12 arriving in Dubai or under the age of 16 arriving in Abu Dhabi and those with severe and moderate disabilities will be exempted from the test requirement.

Trip advisor forum says its 12 and under.

Can anyone clarify for me please? After waiting so long for our holiday I don’t want to mess it up. Grandson will be 12 when we go.

There’s news it might have changed to under 16 no test required in last couple of days.

It’s so stressful trying to go on holiday these days!

I don’t know for 100% certain but I think the answer is yes he/she will need a PCR test.

I’ve just come back from Dubai and have a 12 year old son. When I did the verifly check in for the flight I had to scan the QR code on his covid pass letter. I think we also showed the vaccination letter when going through immigration.

He also got charged adult prices at most places we went as he was 12.

I wouldn’t risk it ruining your holiday and would get the test if it was me.

Thanks, but the answer is no. It changed a couple of weeks ago to under 16.
