I have never used a Barclays Upgrade voucher before – only an Amex 241. On the 241 I can add the domestic connection for free on long haul flights. Is this the same for bookings with the Barclay Upgrade voucher?
(I understand from reading here, that I have to call up to add a domestic as the website does not understand the lack of PE on short haul)
Yes, call and ask them to add the domestic connection free of charge for an upgrade to CW. If you’re upgrading to PE, you’ll be able to book both legs online.
You do not need to call up. I booked edinburgh to HK last year directly on the website with Barclaycard voucher. I think you did in the beginning but not anymore
