Given that it is now possible to earn Avios points on spending with Revolut (albeit at a not-so-great rate unless you’re on the £45 per month plan), and considering the only other method I know of for earning points on foreign spending is by using Curve with a reward card (such as the Barclaycard Avios Plus). Based on various posts, Curve seems to be a little hit and miss in terms of reliability.
Does this make Revolut the best option for spending in a foreign currency and earning points (assuming you’re happy to lose out on section 75 protection)?
