    Hi,

As per the thread title, I am wondering if Qatar will interline baggage on 2 separate PNR’s but both legs are with Qatar?

Flying LHR-DOH-MED. My wife and daughter’s tickets are both on a single PNR, but annoyingly I could only book 2 tickets this way, despite there being availability for more when looking at each leg separately, so had to book mine as separate legs. When you search for 3 on Qatar, it prices all at 2x avios, despite being able to book 2 at single avios. Its also fewer avios to book separately than 2x avios for 1 person.

I am hoping to check all the luggage under their tickets at Heathrow, but if we need to use my allowance, hoping Qatar will interline mine all the way through to MED? The connection time at DOH will be 2hr 45. If not, I assume that’s enough time collect the luggage and re-check? I’m aware that I have no protection if the outbound is delayed and I miss the connection.

If they do interline, am I OK to check in online for the DOH-MED leg (being HBO), and therefore follow my wife and daughter as connecting passengers and stay airside?

I’ve not flown Qatar/DOH before so grateful for your advice.

    Thanks!

They’ve interlined from QR to BA on separate tickets for me before, so I’m sure you’ll be fine on all QR flights!

Slightly different but related question, rather than start a new thread…

I assume QR will interline our luggage straight through to BNE on a single PNR OSL-DOH-BNE route, even though Doha layover is 20 hours ?

Our overnight bag will suffice so we’d prefer not to have to retrieve luggage at Hamad International Airport.

Will interlining through to BNE happen as automatic default, or must we specifically request this at OSL airport ?

OSL pretty good at interlining. QR are used to people having long layovers, so bags will be fine. But let them know it’s fine with you, just in case.

    Thanks @Polly
