Does Payment for HMRC gets you Avios using Barclaycard with Curve?

Does Payment for HMRC gets you Avios using Barclays Avios with Curve, I was using HSBC and have discovered that HSBC WE are no longer awarding Avios.

Same as credit card payments.

Can some one please comfirm or any other alternative .. like capital on tap etc.

Yes it does, thats how I met the spending criteria including the Upgrade Voucher in a month! Used curve metal with Fronted switched on.
