First time I’ve seen this but getting all different prices with also different ranges of avios points to potentially use
Flight to ams on logged in ba app with same times is £338.84Not logged in website is £398.84
Then when go on avios app which then takes me to logged in ba website, gives me the following:
36000 Avios + £ 18.00
31000 Avios + £ 36.00
21000 Avios + £ 70.00
16200 Avios + £ 150.00
13000 Avios + £ 190.00Are any of them worth it really, we are not really frequent flyers, maybe 3 holidays a year and even then, not all the time with ba
The ba app doesn’t show all the above avios options only

I def double checked this and all flights and luggage was exacctly the same, will try and check again later tonight.
In terms of reward and part pay (Website vs the BA APP), i dont fully understand it as again its the same company and times no?
Also both do offer part pay with cash, not just using full avios etc. so even more confusing haha

Book with avios and part pay with avios are 2 different things. Part pay with avios generally offers very poor value. Book with avios refers to reward seats, which are usually much better value, but you are dependent on availability.
Yesterday someone I know was about to use 120k avios to get a £400 discount off economy flights for 2 to the Caribbean! Fortunately she was bewailing how much the flights were costing so I swooped in and pointed her in the direction of reward seats, which she got for the 120k avios plus £300. So a cash saving of more than £1k over what she would have paid by using her avios to discount the cash fare.

Book with avios gives you a series of options to pay for a reward flight with avios. There is also a cash amount to pay for taxes/fees/surcharges, which can be increased if you want to use fewer avios. If you check the figures against the cash price of your flight, you will see that this option gives you a much higher value for your avios than using them to reduce the price of a cash flight, as per the example I gave above of the lady who would have been over £1k out of pocket if she’d gone with that option.

Yes that is corr3ct. It is confusing as they seem similar but are different things.
Clicking through to Ba.com from the Avios app is a reward booking. Doing this allows you to increase the cash element and in exchange reduce the number of Avios.
On the other hand going directly to the ba.com website will default to a cash booking. You can then reduce the cash cost of the fare by using some Avios. Booking this way means you will earn Tier points and Avios based on the underlying cash fare and your status with BA.
You can also book a reward flight directly from ba.com but you have to select “book a flight with Avios”. Booking an Avios fare will not earn TP or give any Avios. You will still have to pay some cash as that is supposed to cover the cost of APD.
It’s further complicated by whether you are offered RFS fares (Reward Flight Saver). You have to ahve earned or spent at least 1 Avios in the past 12 months to be offered RFS fares. If you are eligible you should be able to pay as little as £1 plus a lot of Avios.
