I was curious to see what point price ranges were for a GND-LHR one-way which is something I’ve been holding MRs for as one-way business class would be silly. But as soon as you select the route, the option to pay with points disappears. Reversing the route, the points option comes back.
I guess we’ll be flying back on BA then.
I’m seeing points pricing for next September – are you sure it’s not just sold out on your date? Pricing is bonkers though, 155k points in Y, 250k in PE and 155k in UC!
Ah, it’s a website design bug. If you search from the main page for cash then click the points option, you see flights. If you select points on the front page, the options for Money / Points / Points plus money grey out the second two as soon as you flip the route from LHR-GND to GND-LHR.
Then selecting a ‘cheapest’ day you see points values of 66k/118k/300k. Scorchio!
