I’ve just had an in-app notification of an offer to match my Diamond status with Hilton Honors to Gold Medallion at Delta.
Others may receive different offers, but Gold is equivalent to SkyTeam Elite Plus.
Once the website worked, took a few attempts through the page which opened from the app, I needed to log in to both Hilton then Delta to make it work.
My in-app notification was to match Hilton Diamond to Delta Silver. And a status challenge to Delta Gold. Of no interest as already SkyTeam Elite Plus elsewhere, and there’s an ongoing workplace benefit of Delta Silver anyway.
Rather naive of Hilton to be offering a match to Silver for some Diamonds and Gold to others. It just leaves a bad taste in the mouth and a mentality of waiting for them to table a better offer. Same goes for their personalised points purchase bonus.
I’d be intrigued by that as well. I suspect some people will be offered a status above Gold too, likely based on number of nights/stays and total spend plus other internal scores including number of years at Diamond status perhaps.
I also have SkyTeam Elite Plus via Flying Blue so not necessarily worth it for me, but worth passing on in case it suits someone.

It’s a nice offer, I had diamond to Silver medallion, but already did the SAS match so not worth it, also be surprised if many people can do the required flights to keep it, presume only Delta metal will count.
Nothing for me either as Diamond but I won’t requalify this year. (My app notifications were already on.)
Got a silver message pushed to me on my phone, but couldn’t get it to work…
Then found that there was a gold message on my tablet. That was a much more interesting offer, of course, and it worked.
Can’t see a clear way forward to get the MQD I will need after the six months, however, and the partner pages don’t work properly.Nothing for me as Diamond in my HH account…
