Can somebody please advise why my husband and I have had Tier points deducted as part of the BA Exec Club new membership year? We have (stupidly) only just spotted that I had 610 points deducted on 9 June 2024 and my husband had 690 deducted on 9 July 2024 – the comment against both just says Tier points reset for new membership year. These have not been added back in at a later date.
Are they for flights taken before 1st April 2024?
As it says in the description that is the normal end of (old) TP year reset, all perfectly normal. For the transition period you would/should have had a subsequent entry a couple of weeks later re-crediting any TP earned between 01/04/24 and the reset date.
Indeed any flights upto 31st March 2024 wouldn’t have been added back.
If there were any flights taken between 1st April to 8th June in your case and 8th July in your husbands would have been added back approx 14 days later as part of yiur new years stating on 1st April 2024 – 31st March 2025.
I have yet to hear of the system failing to make the correct calculations or not posting those flights properly.
I really hope we aren’t going to get a barrage of people complaining on April 1st that all their tier points have disappeared. If only the imminent changes had been mentioned somewhere!
