December 30 – January 3 stay night credits question

I’ve got a Hilton stay over new year from 30 December until 3 January. It turns out I’m going to need 2 night credits to retain diamond status. Will the 2 nights of my stay at the end of the year on 30th and 31st post to my Hilton account for 2023 and thus I’ll retain diamond, or as I’ll checkout in 2024, will 4 night credits post to my account for 2024 and I’ll miss out on diamond?

The entire stay will post into 2024, had the same a couple of years ago, its the day you check out that determines the period to which the stay is credited

Yup, to get 2 nights you will have to stay 29th to 31st and then not check in again to that hotel under your account until the 1st.
