I have a card expiring soon, but not received any communication from curve.
Does the new metal card turn up by default or should I contact customer service asking new card to be dispatched?
how far is soon?
most recently they did on contact with me as my previous metal was reaching expiry. they just wanted to confirm post address.
it was at least a month before expiry, because i had an overlap.
once activated in the app, the old one seems to stop working immediately even though it will have a different 16 digit number. caused me no end of unexpected declines 🙂

hmm, I would of expected some sort of contact by now. I would get in contact with them.
have you checked spam emails etc, or actually changed enail address?
They are known for not sending replacements until you ask for one to be sent.
Apologies for slight thread drift, but in a similar vein… I need to order a new (regular, non-metal) card, which I see I can now do via the app (been a while since I looked as I haven’t had need of Curve for some time, and I never did receive either my shareholder’s card or an allegedly-sent replacement for the one that expired two years ago, despite chasing with customer services, so I gave up, but now I have a use for it once more). I’m supposedly on (fee-free) Legacy Black, but when I go to order a replacement card, it appears to be saying there’s a £9.99 monthly fee. Does anyone know, is this just a display error and I can safely order and stay on legacy black, or would I get an involuntary upgrade just by ordering a card? Thanks.

You can’t order a replacement Legacy card on the app. The clue is in the name…’Legacy’. You’ll need to contact Curve for a replacement.
