This may be a common question but I have a companion voucher and am thinking of ways to make sure that I try and get the flights I want and avoid the 5am rush and risk missing them.
I know that we can book the outbound flight first and then when the homeward flight is released we can ring and link them but I wonder if the following would work?
I book 4 economy flights using just points at 5am online for the outbound flight. 2 weeks later I ring up to book flight home, we are more flexible on this so feel less of a time pressure.
When we book the flights home we then use the companion voucher to book two of the flight? Or maybe they just then apply it in total when they are linking everything up together?
Seems this should work, do you think?
Apologies @benjy2309, I’ve just seen that this is the Virgin post. Not a voucher I have any personal experience of.
Hopefully a suitably knowledgeable person will help
