As the title says, the status match is now live, though I found it by chance. I opened the Club Avolta app, clicked on the Radisson partner page and instructions for applying for the status match appeared. I followed the simple process and have had confirmation that my application has been received.
How are you getting to the status match page? I can see it now in the list of partners and have linked accounts, but can’t find a page specific to the status match
When you click on the Radisson partner page it gives instructions – simply email a screenshot of your Club Avolta membership card and your Radisson Rewards membership number. My status was updated to VIP in under half an hour!

I only have option to link accounts to collect points on spend in Sweden/Switzerland, nothing about status match
In the app, click on Rewards and then on Radisson. Mine then comes up with instructions to complete the status match.
I remembered there’s previously been a weird thing in RbD/Avolta where rewards appearing is location dependent. Changed my location from LGW to “Shopping” from the drop-down and it appeared. So if anyone else isn’t seeing it, try that

D) Nobody knows?Weird IT seems rife in this ‘points make prizes’ world of ours. As mentioned above, Radisson appears as a link to collect on spend partner, but no sign of a status match reference anywhere. Given it took half a day for the app to acknowledge my BA sign up, having initially said it wasn’t possible, I’ll give it a while and see if the ghosts in the machine make it magically appear.

Appears under Rewards if I change the location to LBA or LHR, but not eg MAN or LGW
Check your current Radisson tier date before you apply – On your account profile you have “Tier start” and “Tier updates”, which will be 1 year after the start.
Mine was 10/24 to 10/25.
I sent the email for the status match. It was done within 10 minutes. My status is now VIP, but the tier dates are the same.
This means I will have VIP until 10/25. Not quite the 12 months or more I hoped for, but at least it’s 10 months.
If your tier end date is only a few months away you’d be better off opening a new Radisson account and get status for 12 months.

That’s a problem for me.. I signed up for Avolta and got the status match to Platinum with a different email address than I use for Radisson Rewards.
Is there no way it can work if the email addresses are different for both accounts?

Actually I was able to log into the Avolta profile and change the registered email to the same one as Radisson, so hopefully all good.
So my status match to VIP came through.
In the App it now shows the tier update as being 10/25 (like Go197 above).
However, in the acknowledgement email it said this: “We are delighted to inform you that we have upgraded your Radisson Rewards membership to VIP until 31.12.2025.”So I’m not sure if it will last till next October or till end of 2025.

Interesting. I never received any email response – I just logged in and saw my new status.
My tier end date was 10/25 before the status match and didn’t change after. Possibly curious that yours is also 10/25, though with only 12 months to choose from it’s probably a simple coincidence.
Worked for me too.
The email from Radisson was in spam and oddly was addressed to someone else.
I’m curious how long this takes to process? I sent screenshots 5 days ago, but no love yet. Still a lowly Premium member. Have 3 bookings at Radisson this upcoming week, so hoping I can get a free breakfast!

Me too, nothing yet, I have a number of bookings to make this week that was going to Hilton but can change if I get the status.
Me too, waiting since Tuesday for my match, Hilton will get my business if nothing occurs in the next couple of days.
