Click here *not working* from the Daily article that links to the forum

For at least the past 2 days the link from the daily article ‘click here to go to the forum’ is not working.
New users may not know to click the hotdog instead
Same on my Mac with Brave — there’s no clickable link in the body of the daily article to the forum or the chat thread.
And again today!
Thing is, it’s far from the first time this has happened. Yet when someone suggested scrapping the ‘article’ on the homepage that supposedly links to the forum Rob’s response was ‘no way, it directs more new user traffic’ or similar.
If it was so important you’d think there would be much more focus on ensuring the thing actually worked.This is a totally bizarre IT quirk. As you’d expect, we create a clone of the previous days article, change the date in the title and date it for the following day.
However, occasionally and for no logical reason, the tick box in the admin area to activate the redirection gets unticked. Dunno why.
Obviously the answer here is to check that the box hasn’t become unticked, and we do check ….. except when we don’t.
