Sorry for the newb question. I am getting a car from IAH on Wednesday. I’ve currently got a Group C booked, I’m Presidents Club through Amex. In the app now I can upgrade to Group F for a small amount of money.
I’m going to be driving by myself about 2000 miles over 6 days, so am not worried about space, but would like a high spec car that is comfortable. I’m confused as to whether the different groups have any bearing on the spec of the car, or is it just size? I’m also unsure how the two car upgrade through PC works as I haven’t rented before with this status.
Any tips or pointers would be much appreciated.
As Presidents Club and renting at an airport you (should) will get an upgrade. They will have plenty of cars and will give you any based on what they have at hand. just take your time and pick the one you prefer. In the US they tend to have all cars open and you can just walk around and pick any you want. They will rush you around to pick one, just take your time.
Thanks. Have rented plenty of cars before, but never with Presidents Club, so have never been offered a choice.
