Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Chase Bank BA credit card – coming to UK?

The chase app is pretty awful, it’s so unresponsive and sometimes my payments randomly fail. And the worst thing is that it can only be used on one device at one time and changing device requires passport and selfie.

Although one good thing is that (in theory) incoming payments update in real time without needing to close and reopen the app.

That counts as a good thing in 2023?!?

It was not in the email, but is mentioned on their news article under ‘things to look out for’

    No timescale mentioned…

Well the article is titled “coming soon”.

    And from another Chase email….

“open a Nutmeg account through the Chase app and invest £1,000 or more by 5 April, Nutmeg will give you a £100 investment boost too!”

10% return on an investment sounds good assuming the investment doesn’t go down!

So with a SIPP and 40% tax relief that’s a 50% return on a grand assuming no growth.

I already have a SIPP elsewhere but I’ll be very happy with 10% return.

I think the app is amongst the best in the banking sector. It’s always been responsive on my iPhone.

We don’t want another BA card!! We want something similar to what the US have where we can transfer points to any airline like Amex gold/platinum
