It’s probably a daily occurrence seeing someone apologise for reporting a post by mistake. This does suggest the current system needs changing. Two suggestions…
Add an “are you sure?” Prompt when someone clicks “report”

Simply move the report button so it’s not right next to the quote button which might reduce the amount of accidental reports.Think it’s 3rd party software so not easily changed. I imagine it must happen so often that the warning reports are now just set up to go into some spam bin folder at HfP towers and never looked at, so I don’t worry if I make that error. If anyone posts anything impressively offensive on HfP then I’m sure someone will just Email Rob/Rhys directly anyway.
We only get a 3-4 of these per day.
Importantly, a reported post is still visible to everyone else anyway so it doesn’t mess up the thread for others who read it. We remove the warning as quickly as we can.
