Anyone rented a car recently on Corfu from a local supplier (not the big ones like Avis etc) they can recommend? Prefer automatic but know that might be hard to find and just has to be safe and reliable, not worried about new – in fact I generally find something already a bit battered is better and less to worry about!
I used Fair Deal car rental last year. Good price and they were not fussy about car condition on return. Only slight negative is that its not in terminal pick up so u have to ring them to pick u up but I found that service pretty smooth.

We also used Fair Deal two years ago and would recommend. They deliver to your hotel for free if you do not want to collect at the airport. Car was in a good condition, and we did get an automatic. Simple process, no extras.
