Good morning.
In February I booked 2 u/c seats to Texas on 5th June which was cancelled overnight. I cannot see a way to cancel these online; in fact, I can see no details of the reservation for my colleague at all.
Does anyone know if I have to cancel this over the phone please and will I receive points and voucher and taxes back do you think?
Many thanks
Since VS have cancelled the flight then yes you will get everything back. Fees are only charged if the passenger voluntarily cancels.
But are you sure you want to do that because you have the right to be rebooked either on a later date or onto an alternative routing the same day if that’s what you want.
But if you want a refund there should be something in either the email notification or in MMB to allow you to claim that. Otherwise yes call.
Thank you so much for your reply. I am afraid that my post was totally inept. It should have read “In February I booked 2 u/c seats to Texas on 5th June to attend a function which was cancelled overnight.” I am, in fact, requesting a voluntary cancellation.
My apologies.
In that case yes it’s a voluntary cancellation so you’d have to pay the fee which is £35 (unless VS are waiving this at the moment)
Well that would be a great result. Thank you very much once again.
