Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Cancelling a companion voucher booking

  • 255 posts

I have these bookings made with a companion voucher, one way to Tokyo then a second booking for the return leg which I discounted afterwards by calling up BACS.

Am I right in thinking that the moment I cancel the booking, well the two bookings, I’ll have to pay £35 x2 passengers x2 bookings? So £140? Ugh… I’ve been waiting for BA to change schedule even slightly so I can cancel for free, but so far, no luck.

Is there a way to avoid having to pay that much?

    Thank you

@VinZ – the costs you mention are the standard ones and yes, two separate bookings cost twice as much to cancel – that’s the price of doing it that way which probably saved you more than the additional canx fees. You need more than a slight schedule change to get a refund – four hours and you would need that on both bookings to cancel everything for free.
