Looking for some advice.
A friend of mine had their flight from Rome (to London) cancelled by BA. No notification until they got to the airport – only clue was they were unable to check in the night before.
No one to speak to at the airport. After spending an hour on various calls to BA were told the next flight to London was not for 8 hours and there were no seats free on that flight.
My friend had to get home so booked a last minute flight back with another airline (because no resolution was offered by BA other than to wait to see if seats become available on the much later flight) as they had to be home for work at a cost of €400 each.
What is she due from BA?
