Forums Other Airport lounges Bristol Escape Lounge

    Hi,

There are six of us (3 adults, 3 children) flying from Bristol at the end of the month, I have booked the Escape Lounge for the 6 of us through Holiday Extras, but have since got Amex Platinum so am considering cancelling my booking and using Priority Pass instead. My wife (one of the adults travelling) is a second card holder so also has Priority Pass and we can get two of the kids in as guests.

I know lounges can get quite busy so assume they prioritise bookings over Priority Pass people who just turn up? I see that Priority Pass allows you to reserve for an additional cost (£6 per person) through their site at Bristol which has the advantage of getting a guaranteed seat reservation in the lounge.

This is what I’m planning, does this sound right or have I missed something?

Cancel my Holiday Extras booking, book the Bristol Escape Lounge – Priority Pass Reservation for £36, then use our Amex Platinum Priority Pass cards to get my wife and I in with two children as guests, then I will need to pay £24 x 2 to get the other two in?

    TIA

    No, not missed anything. You’d be paying £24 x 2 + £6 x 6.

Deffo reserve because with the other lounge about to shut permanently there will be huge pressure on Escape.
