Hi all,
Long time lurker and first time poster. I’m looking at ways to retain our Diamond status with Hilton. Is it possible to book Hilton stays for family when you are not staying in the room? If I booked a trip for my parents and added one of them as an additional person on the booking would this be enough for me to get the points and the elite nights or is this frowned upon or not allowed?
Thanks in advance!
You might get lucky but the T&C’s say you must be staying. In the UK you don’t have to produce ID to check in, the majority of the time, but abroad you’re pretty much always asked to show a passport for both guests if not the person who booked so much higher chance it won’t work.
