It’s been almost 3 months since I added my fist additional card, still no sign of the bonus points. I went on chat just to find out that it’s only be 87 days since I’ve done that, so the reply was:
“in rare circumstances it may take up to 90 days for the 5,000 Membership Rewards points to be applied to your Account hence I would request you to wait for few more days and you’ll receive the points as per the offer time frame.”
Has anyone received bonus points recently without chasing? Just not sure if it’s really rare circumstances.
I had to chase up my last one of these past 90 days and get it applied manually. As per other threads on the subject, Amex is very poor in this area atm!
