Anyone have thoughts on this new Hilton property? 90k pts per night even during peak season seems like a decent deal, esp with a 4+1 redemption. Have only ever stayed at the Edition in Bodrum so this isn’t the same level but would be more or less free with Hilton points that I rarely am able to use.
I thought about this, too. But ended up booking the Doubletree Bodrum resort just because it is all-inclusive as we are a young family. But, otherwise, I’d have given this a go. Nice location and private beach.
Has anyone stayed at any of the bodrum resorts? We had to book our easyJet vouchers and we’re torn between Antalya (which we have been to before) ans Antalya in august. Ended up booking Antalya as there is hopefully more variety but bodrum seems appealing.
I think Hilton has only one Bodrum resort, that is a Doubletree.
Otherwise I’ve stayed at many Bodrum resort at a wide variety of price points.
Most are over-expensive junk and few are classy. Not many with point options..I stayed at both the DoubleTree and the Susona (LXR) resorts in Bodrum last year and would highly recommend the Susona. It was off season in April and we were upgraded to a huge suite with a private pool. It’s not all inclusive but I preferred that to be honest, the restaurants were good quality and reasonably priced anyway.
+ Susona is excellent. Staff fantastic. Food delicious and locally sourced-grown at the hotel! Full hotel but you’d hardly notice.
So my pts reservation was canceled, with Hilton citing that the Bo Vue was not opening for the summer. No compensation offered. My flights are non-refundable. Would a reasonable ask be to be rebooked at the Susona, or enough points that I can book it?
