Seem very popular, am I missing out? What’s their USP? Do they have a loyalty scheme?

I’ve not been in for a while, but when I last did, the USP was very good sandwiches.

I didn’t know they were still around! I used to go the the one in Moorgate, maybe 20 years ago. Was always very busy and sandwiches were tasty…

Birley is in good shape. There is a new-ish one opp Cannon St by our office.

    Expensive fit outs, 1920s soundtrack.

Only ever go for a sausage sandwich for breakfast.

I used the one under WeWork a few weeks ago (the one in the block behind Waitrose) and I think the one just off the mall as you head towards the Jubilee Line is open too.

Birleys was/is the place to go for a sandwich, soup or salad in the City (near Moorgate) or Canary Wharf. On a Friday morning you will ususally find all the city boyz there having breakfast after one too many.

Are there any similar places in/near the West End?

I really like custom made fresh sandwiches but it seems to be very unfashionable now.
