Best SIM card for roaming internationally/US?

Evening, off to the US and I just wanted to know what HfP folks do when they go to the US for calls/data etc?

I’m with EE so I just select £9.50 for the “Roam Further” add-on for the month for use in the USA, Canada and others.

As beloved NHS staff, that gets discounted by 20% like the rest of my plan.
