Anyone know how many barclaycard reward seats are made available for each flight and is thier reward allocation in addition to the likes of Amex? Just trying to weigh up my options for travelling long hall this time next year with a barclaycard cabin upgrade voucher. Also I’m thinking of signing up for sest spy to help.

Availability for the BC voucher is the same as for any other Avios booking. The only differentiated availability comes with the BAPP card companion voucher which can offer additional Club seats (and no other class) on BA long haul flights.
It’s more difficult to optimise the Barclays voucher than the 241, but there is good value to be had. There’s a thread floating around from the last few days along the lines of “is it worth using the upgrade voucher on long haul with a bit of discussion.
But as mentioned above, you have access to the same reward inventory as everyone apart from some of the people using a 241.

Thanks, I’ve been following that thread too.

Great thanks. Wasn’t sure if it worked that way.
