Hi,
Looking for hotel in Barbados: 3 adults and 3 kids. budget $400-600/room for up to 2 rooms. Any advice?
We did look at:
1. the elegant hotels: turtle beach, sugar bay, Waves and crystal cove
2. Bougainvillea Barbados
3. O2 Beach Club & Spa
4. St Peter’s Bay Luxury Resort and Residencies
Any advice?
Thanks in advance
Stayed at Turtle beach about 5yrs ago, before it got bought out by Marriott. It wasn’t great. Rooms were tired, food mediocre, service hit and miss. It was right on the beach which was nice. I certainly wouldn’t return here though.
We have stayed at the Sea Breeze a few times, my girls were young teens and we stayed in UK school holidays. I think it has got more expensive since then. We had a 2 bed apartment the first time we visited and booked via Virgin Holidays (paid for with Tesco points), the girls got kids prices so it was a great deal.
